Rich Naccarato


Rich Naccarato is the Owner of Phoenix Cleaning & Restoration. Rich is responsible for, and proud of, putting together this highly qualified team of specialists. Managing the business while the team works on managing the day to day minutia. Prior to opening Phoenix, he was a partner for 14 years in a very successful restoration company and prior to that, Rich worked 8 years for, at that time, the largest privately owned cleaning and restoration company in Connecticut. This is where he received his initial exposure, training and experience in the specific business of Insurance restoration.

Rich has 26 years' experience in the restoration insurance industry. He enjoys interacting and mentoring his team as he sees his business grow and expand to a second location to better serve the State of Connecticut and Southern Massachusetts.

Marianne Naccarato


Marianne is the accountant/bookkeeper for Phoenix Cleaning & Restoration. She handles all aspects of accounting for the business as well as most HR issues. Marianne has been involved in office administration since 1993 and has been office manager for several companies before coming on board with her husband Rich here at Phoenix.


Gina Murray

Inside Operation for Mitigation

Gina Murray is Inside Operations for Mitigation (Water, Cleaning, and Contents) at Phoenix Cleaning & Restoration, with responsibility for file management for the entire Mitigation Department. Prior to joining Phoenix, Gina worked for seven years in the insurance/mitigation/restoration industry. Gina is a certified Water Damage Restoration Technician with 8 years' experience. When she is not working, Gina enjoys quality time with her family and quiet time at the beach.

Kimberly Lilienthal

Accounting/Inside Operations for Restoration Divison

Kimberly Lilienthal works in Accounting and Inside Operations for the Restoration Division. She is responsible for invoicing, program management, file management, etc. She has worked here for a year and a half but prior to working at Phoenix, worked in the restoration industry for eight years in various positions. She enjoys spending time with her husband and her two golden retrievers and traveling to different locales around the globe. Life is an adventure that happens every day.


John Duddy

Mitigation and Content Production Manager

John Duddy is the Mitigation and Contents Production Manager at Phoenix Cleaning & Restoration, who is responsible for ensuring crews are dispatched accurately and timely to Water Damage claims and Content's handling claims. He has been in the insurance restoration business for 5 years setting up program losses and insuring file management follow Company and Third Party Administration protocols.

John is IICRC certified as WRT, SMT, FSRT and UFT which enables him to evaluate Smoke Damage, Fire Damage, Stone and Tile Cleaning and Fabric Cleaning. John is also certified as an RRP renovator.

Sean Mullenix

Mitigation Manager/Estimator

Sean Mullenix is a mitigation manager and estimator at Phoenix Cleaning & Restoration. He is responsible for inspecting and estimating losses ranging from water damage to microbial investigations. He is a council certified microbial remediation supervisor through the ACAC, as well as being certified through the IICRC for fire, water and carpet maintenance. Sean has been in the industry for 13 years.

David Brill

Manager/Estimator of Just Contents

David Brill is the manager/estimator of the Just Contents division of Phoenix Cleaning & Restoration. David has been in the catastrophic loss restoration industry for nearly 20 years and holds certificates from the IICRC in Odor Control & Contents Cleaning and Deodorization; Certified Electronics Restorer from O'Dell Electronics Restoration; Certificate of Electronics Restorer from Restronix Corporation; Certificate from IOT in Mold Remediation; Certificate in Lead Remediation and Control from the National Center for Healthy Housing; Certified Powered Industrial Lift Truck Trainer; Graduate of Franklin-Covey 7 Habits of Highly Effective People; and Graduate of Dale Carnegie's Effective Communications and Human Relations Course. He has also attended many seminars on contents cleaning and handling, water loss drying techniques, human relations and team management.

He has quickly learned that people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. His specialty is dealing with peoples' contents. People are often very attached to their belongings and he is passionate about helping people save their cherished, sentimental items. David is a compassionate people person and this, above all, is most helpful in assisting homeowners through the devastating loss of fire or water damage.

When not assisting homeowners with saving their stuff, Dave can usually be found under the hood of one of his collector cars or at the race track with his wife watching vintage racing throughout New England and Canada. He and his wife also enjoy traveling the CT Wine Trail and mountain biking.


George McCary

Restoration Estimator

George McCary is a Restoration Estimator at Phoenix Cleaning & Restoration, he is responsible for producing restoration estimates and working with the customer and the insurance companies on coming to an agreed scope of work and price.

George is certified as a Lead Renovator and Successful Subrogation Training. He has 19 years of experience as a contractor and an adjuster and understands both sides of the claims/repairs process

David Avery

Restoration Project Manager

David Avery is a Restoration Project Manager with Phoenix Cleaning & Restoration. His responsibilities are to control job costs and assist his crews in achieving excellence on each and every job.

Dave's prior experience includes working as a lead carpenter for several different CT construction companies and owning his own construction company for 12 years specializing in log homes and remodeling older homes. Dave has also worked within the insurance restoration industry here in CT and also in SC and VA, for several years.

Dave is IICRC certified for water mitigation, Lead Certified, OSHA 10 and holds a degree in Architectural C.A.D.D. With more than 30 years overall in the industry, Dave looks forward to working alongside you to bring your home back to where you loved it before.

George Gelinas

Project Manager and Estimator

George Gelinas is a project manager and estimator at Phoenix Cleaning & Restoration, who is responsible for meeting with clients to go over their project and to provide a smooth transition from start to finish with an attention to detail. George has worked in the insurance industry as well as ran his own business doing the same duties.

George has 35 years of experience. He graduated from Kaynor tech in Carpentry, and attended Gateway community College. He has IICRC technician certification in carpet cleaning, fire, smoke and water damage restoration, odor control and applied structural drying as well as training in indoor air quality, mold remediation and is RRP certified for lead. George also completed Hazwoper 24 hour course, Mobile service manager pack out certification and Master shingle applicator for Certainteed roofing Certification.
